Objectives and functions
The Swedish Precast Concrete Federation is a trade association for companies which manufacture and/or install concrete products. Its principle function is to look after the interests of the member companies and to create for them the best possible conditions in which to operate and develop in society.
The long-term objectives of the Swedish Precast Concrete Federation are as follows:

The Swedish Precast Concrete Federation shall contribute to the positive development of construction in Sweden.

Society as a whole shall have positive attitudes to concrete, the Swedish Precast Concrete

Federation and the products manufactured by the industry.

To expand the market for member companies’ products.
The Federation’s functions
To achieve benefits for our members, we are actively involved in the following:

Promoting member issues within society and with influential authorities

Promoting product-specific projects

Improving the reputation of the concrete and construction materials industries, and that of the construction sector

Communicating with members, the construction sector and society
-
Producing manuals and informational materials
-
Providing skills and training for member companies and others
The Board handles general issues and the five product sections of elements, installation, land, roofs and pipes, for the appropriate product areas. To support the board, there are two advisory councils within the fields of training and the environment. The administration office is responsible for operational business.
The Swedish Precast Concrete Federation has a third share in the ownership of Betong och Ballast Administration (BBA) AB service company, with the other two thirds owned by the two trade organisations, the Swedish Aggregate Producers Association (SBMI) and the Swedish Association of Ready-mixed Concrete Manufacturers (SFF) respectively.
